Poodles are one of the most popular dogs in the US (The American Kennel Club names them as the seventh most popular breed), and it is easy to see why: Clever, loving, and affectionate dogs are wearing a curved coat. . But not all pods are created equal, and the packs come in a few different forms. The AKC recognizes three distinct species, but some subscription organizations and poodle enthusiasts are aware of two different add-ons. The Essential Types of Poodle
The three AKC-known poodle species are listed initially, while the last two are known only as poodle aficionados and a few other genre registers. Note that AKC regards all three known variants (standard poodle, minature poodle, and toy poodle) as different types of the same type. In contrast, the UKC considers familiar poodles a different type than small and toy poodles.
- Standard Poodle
The common poodle is the largest of the genus, and stands up to 15 inches on the shoulder (most is between 20 and 23 inches long) and weighs between 45 and 80 pounds. - Miniature Poodle

- Klein (Moyen) Poodle

Klein poodles resemble very small, or medium-sized poodles, and most stand between 15 and 20 inches in length and weigh about 40 to 50 pounds.
- Teacup Poodle
Teacup poodles are not known for many of the major Types of Poodles registration; instead, they are an illegal name for artisans and poodle lovers who donate to small toy poodles. There is no clear-cut size guide for teacup poodles, but most dogs prefer this name in 5- to 7-pound.
We do not usually recommend buying teacup dogs, as they are usually bred to be unnatural and small, and suffer from a number of health issues as a result. Make sure you do your research before you even think about teacup dogs!
Poodle Colors
Polesles come in a variety of colors and combinations. While multi-colored pimples can be attractive, they are not approved by AKC, they require the pores to be the same color (the UKC allows multi-colored pods). This is not very important, unless you have planned to display your Poodle.
